Someone got into the greatest cab ever.
That's great, but sir, you're driving on the wrong side of the road.
I spend most taxi rides cursing weird smells, nauseated by traffic, or praying to survive to my destination. So I would have been as delighted as redditor harihisu to step into this cab, which is evidently driven by someone who not only doesn't have a death wish, but would like his passengers to have a pleasant day.
Here's what those signs say:
Yes, that's right—free water and candy! I can't say if the candy was something good or not, but it's the thought that counts. The cabbie, who harihisu found in Singapore, is a retired mechanic who appears to just be driving for the sheer love of conversation and taking shortcuts. Harihisu also notes, "One more thing: In Singapore, cab drivers tip you! As in, if your bill is 10.5$, they will be happy taking 10$ only. I have never seen this in any other country that I visited."
That's it, I'm starting a Kickstarter to bring this guy to New York to train taxi drivers here in the art of cabbie-ing.
