Samuel L. Jackson flips out at news anchor for thinking he's Laurence Fishburne. "We don't all look alike!"
Samuel L. Jackson... Samuel L. Jackson... Samuel L. Jackson...
When it comes to being mistaken for Laurence Fishburne, Samuel L Jackson is officially over it. That's what one KTLA reporter learned the hard way on live television this morning during a two minute long verbal beatdown courtesy of Not Laurence Fishburne. After the reporter asks Jackson about a recent Super Bowl commercial featuring Not Samuel L. Jackson, Jackson takes the opportunity to set the record straight once and for all.
The exchange is brutal. Every time you think he's going to stop and let the guy off the hook, he keeps going. It's clear that what really annoys Samuel is that he's not talking with an excited fan on the street, but someone who should know better. Someone who will probably be waking up in a cold sweat for weeks shouting "You're the entertainment reporter?! You're the entertainment reporter?!"
So if you happen to work in the entertainment industry, or live in the same neighborhood, or think there's even a remote chance of ever running into Samuel L. Jackson, do yourself a favor and make a mental note that he's the guy from Pulp Fiction, not The Matrix or Driving Miss Daisy.
Better yet, take a few seconds to pull out your phone and write a note to yourself, because it could wind up saving you from two very long, brutal minutes in the future.
