They claim that applicants who score too high on the intelligence test are more likely to be bored by police-work and their training will have been a waste. Sorry, but who would ever be bored knowing that every day they go to work is another day when they might get the chance to pepper spray the crap out of stuff? Here's hoping this results in an inspiring movement of hyper-intelligent people trying to break through the "Dumb Ceiling," until finally one Harvard grad surmounts the obstacles preventing him from earning around $38K a year plus pension, and Steve Guttenberg better play him in the movie or else what's the point?
