Breaking: A cat named Colonel Meow has just won the Guinness World Record for longest fur.
He likes to look nice when he goes into battle. (screengrab via Youtube)
What male cat hasn't—in a private bathroom moment—whipped out a ruler and measured the length of his fur?
There's no need to be embarrassed just because, at 9 inches long, Colonel Meow's fur length puts your cat's to shame. In what some are calling the greatest mission of his military career, the Colonel won the Guinness World Record 2014 for Longest Fur on a Cat. Lieutenant Whiskers and Private Catnip have nothing on this master and commander of hair length. Colonel Meow's fur is truly a feat of feline persistence. Plus, cleaning it up constantly gives his human something to do.
