The single greatest photo of the Olympic Games is an elderly woman accidentally taking a selfie of her eyeball.
SOCHI OLYMPICS

Guys, she's checking herself for glaucoma. This is really insensitive. (via)

This photo pretty much perfectly sums up the times we live in: we can capture and freeze any moment in time anywhere, and beam images live around the world, and yet we remain giant derps.

This woman was trying to capture some of the action of the Russia/Slovenia hockey game on 2/13, although she ended up capturing our hearts (and going massively viral over the weekend, which you may have missed if you actually had a good Valentine's).

Between everything else that went wrong with Sochi, even before the Games started, this might be a metaphor for an old, out-of-touch Russia who tried to monitor everyone but ended up revealing their own weaknesses. No? Too much of a stretch?

Check out this adorable old lady, everyone.
