Women are laying their boobs on stuff and posting Instagram pics of it. It's the wonderful new trend called #Mamming.
BREAST CANCER AWARENESS

Don't stand still for too long. Unless you wanna get #mammed.

In what is inarguably the greatest Breast Cancer Awareness Month-themed trend, #Mamming encourages women to lay their boobs on stuff and then post a pic of the activity on Instagram. Per the website, This Is Mamming, "#Mamming is the act of laying your (clothed) boobs on a flat surface. Like a counter. Or a bench. Or the body of a person who is #planking." It should also be recommended that the surface in question not be splintery, and, if human, that it be consenting.

The intent is to show solidarity with women getting mammograms to detect breast cancer by engaging in the awkwardness of putting your boobs on a flat surface. While every month has another weird Internet trend that often involves doing something stupid with your body, this one is actually for a good cause!

A few recommended #Mamming surfaces, just off the top of my head:

- A hurdle at a track and field meet.

- The edge of a bar.

- The railing surrounding the altar at a Catholic church where you're supposed to kneel while waiting for communion.

- A giant stack of Lincoln Logs.

- A napping sea lion.
